Thoughtful Thursday…A "Pure" healthy drink I'm enjoying...
Welcome to Thoughtful Thursday. This GreenNote Fitness newsletter mindfully gathers and distills useful information that is supportive to our journey. It is my mission to educate, inspire, and propel you into action that moves you towards your goals and life of purpose. Take control of your journey today.
Carefully I rip open the travel-sized packet and place the dried powdered contents into a glass of water and mix until the contents are fully dissolved. I begin drinking it and feel refreshed.
Why wouldn’t I feel refreshed? After all, the Lion’s Mane and Baobab infused powder, among a ton of other nutrients helps both the gut and the brain. This organic superfood blend is easily digested by the body. If we want to be healthy we need to make sure we take care of our gut.
This “Pure” healthy drink I’m digging is by Organifi, aptly named Pure. I first began using their Green Juice products over three years ago. You can read about the juice here. I really appreciate the thought and care that they put into their products to make it as clean and healthy as possible. There are people and companies out there who do care what they are producing and selling to consumers; a good example of doing the right thing and being profitable. Everyone can benefit.
That’s why I like the company and their products. The Organifi Pure is one of currently four of their superfood juices. It is refreshing and light with a touch of sweetness. A good kind of sweetness which we will learn about shortly. It makes my gut feel good and I feel refreshed.
Typically I will consume this superfood and water mixture in the afternoon while I’m at work. It easily mixes in my stainless steel travel mug and I sip on it while working with clients. The taste is sweet and has a light quality to it. The contents of the superfood blend is where the magic is. A lot goes into this little package to bring us the benefits that we are getting for both our brain and our gut. If our gut is not well then we are not well. Read here to find out more about the gut-brain connection.
If I’m low on energy or feel like I need better hydration, I will reach for this packet. Here is a list of the ingredients and a link to the product and more information about the ingredients and the research behind it.
