Thoughtful Thursday…3 things to renew this season...

Welcome to Thoughtful Thursday. This GreenNote Fitness newsletter mindfully gathers and distills useful information that is supportive to our journey. It is my mission to educate, inspire, and propel you into action that moves you towards your goals and life of purpose. Take control of your journey today.

December - Renewal

For the month of December we focus on renewal. We explore different ways that we can rejuvenate and restore from within. GreenNote Fitness invites you to pause and assess what’s serving you and what can help you replenish.

This month I made some needed adjustments to my physical training and took a spiritual journey of sorts through walking and reading. December was about taking inventory of what was working for body, mind, and spirit, and where there could be changes. It’s not about trying to be perfect but making small improvements that can have long-lasting effects. Renewal of body: Physical pain forced me to reassess my training regiment. I’m finding new ways to move and help repair tissue. The surprising thing is how many benefits you can achieve with little, gradual, movements for the body. You don’t need to continuously beat yourself up with a heavy load of HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training). Renewal of mind: I’ve been reading things outside of my normal realm of health and wellness. This helps the mind to stretch and grow. The investment world has captured my attention and have been reading on new technologies and potential areas for growth. Walking outside is so helpful to clear the mind. Cooler weather makes it a nice challenge as well as practicing staying in the present moment and appreciating everything I encounter along the way. Renewal of spirit: By far what has been renewing for my spirit is the book, Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle. It has given me much to think about and think about some more. Thank you for being a part of the GreenNote Fitness community and sharing your journey. I am hopeful that you will discover small changes that will help you renew. Wishing you many blessings and peace.
